The painting scope is often spread across several documents. Floor plans show the rooms, reflected ceiling plans show overhead areas, elevations reveal external surfaces, and schedules identify doors, finishes and coating codes.
We bring those details together so walls, ceilings, bulkheads, doors, frames, skirtings and feature areas can be measured as separate pricing items rather than absorbed into one broad allowance.
Two rooms with similar dimensions may require very different pricing. One may include a standard wall and ceiling finish, while another includes full-height feature paint, several door frames, bulkheads or a different coating system.
We record the scope supported by the documents and flag unclear preparation, product or coat requirements for review. Where walls require render before painting, the substrate quantity can be assessed separately through our Rendering Estimates service.

Where colours, coating systems or room finishes change during pricing, the affected areas can be reviewed against the revised documents. This helps your team see which quantities need updating before labour rates, paint allowances and the final quote are confirmed.
Any unclear surface, preparation or coating requirements will be noted for review rather than treated as confirmed.

Most painting take-offs are completed within two to five business days after we receive the complete plans and confirm the scope.
Smaller residential packages may be completed within one to two business days, while large commercial, multi-level or finish-heavy projects may require five to seven business days. An urgent 24 to 48-hour turnaround may be available by prior agreement, depending on the size of the package and our current workload.
